A New Age of Light
We are at the dawn of the New Age prophesied in the Old and New Testaments. Biblical scripture, as well as the Dead Sea literature, and the ancient and sacred writings of the prophets of all the great world religions spoke of the New Sun that would shine forth in the End Times to illuminate the whole universe with the Light of God. In Christianity, this phenomenon is known as the Second Coming of God’s mediating force, also called Christ.
The Second Advent of Christ is not a man-savior come to deliver humankind, but the Image and Word of God manifest in a new spiritual Sun unlike any that has shone before. This cosmic event, long anticipated throughout the world, has begun. Through God’s Image and Word, a way by which men and women can again share in their spiritual heritage has been revealed. Thus, a new state of the universe exists under God’s Will.
The Second Advent Community has been established by authority to instruct humankind of this transforming condition.
Jesus came to renew the System of Spiritual Regeneration and preached the fulfillment of the tradition that Light, God’s Image, is the carrier of God’s Word, or Logos.
Jesus, who was an Essene rabboni (Master Teacher), taught a higher way of life that could be realized by every man and woman who practiced the spiritual disciplines required to generate latent spiritual faculties. Once exposed to the proper system, the spirit (dormant under the influence of the material world) took on a divine character that gave the soul a transcendental knowledge of the cosmos and the ability to reason on the divine Logos. Once in possession of true logic, illuminated individuals willingly gave themselves over to teaching others.
This tradition can be traced far back into history. Jesus was restoring a universal Teaching, known in different forms throughout the ancient world. Ancient prophets and philosophers taught that men and women were immortal — made in the Image of God, not as physical beings, but as Light bodies possessing a soul that was animated by spiritual Consciousness.
Although the true Teachings of the Holy Ones were expunged from the world, they have been repossessed, restored and amended in contemporary times according to ancient prophecy. The Second Advent Community is presently under mandate to revive and renew the Teachings in America for our own age. The Teachings of Light, therefore, are being taught in the Jamilian University of the Ordained to those who seek illumination.
